What will you be doing?

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Reporting Specialist & Data Steward to manage and maintain data quality while also producing reports and dashboards using Business Objects, Power BI and Excel. This role bridges the gap between business intelligence and data governance, ensuring high-quality data while delivering meaningful insights to key stakeholders. Initial focus of the role will be on reporting; this focus will shift over time to Data Stewardship.

BI Reporting Responsibilities

•        Maintain and refresh reports and dashboards in Business Objects, Power BI and Microsoft Excel

•        Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business decisions

•        Create interactive visualizations and summaries for stakeholders

•        Conduct ad-hoc analyses to identify trends and insights

•        Optimize reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy

Data Stewardship Responsibilities

•        Ensure data quality, consistency, accuracy, and compliance with governance policies

•        Help define and enforce data standards, policies, and best practices

•        Maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and documentation for data assets

•        Collaborate with business and IT teams to manage data integrity and resolve data-related issues

•        Identify and implement data cleansing and harmonization processes

•        Support Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

•        Experience in Data Management, Business Intelligence, IT, or a related field

•        Experience with Business Objects, Power BI and Excel for reporting and analytics

•        Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management

•        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

•        Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and business teams

•        Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

•        Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Business Intelligence, IT, or a related field

•        Knowledge of data compliance regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)

•        Experience working in an Agile environment
