They are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to unlock growth opportunities and drive success. In this fast-paced, high-impact role, you’ll play a key part in shaping their global reach and strengthening the position as a leader in credit management. The successful candidate will possess strategic insight, experience of consultative selling and a good understanding of market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identifying New Business Opportunities – Research markets, analyse competitors, and uncover new prospects.
* Developing Client Relationships – Build trust, provide tailored solutions, and act as a trusted advisor.
* Driving Strategic Deals in a complex environment – Negotiate corporate multinational deals on a global level and ensure smooth contract implementation.
* Shaping Business Growth – Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term strategies and partnerships.
* Analyzing Market Trends – Stay ahead of industry shifts, pricing strategies, and competitive insights.
* Effective collaboration with internal international teams – Partner with sales, marketing, and finance to enhance offerings, cross sell and drive success.
* Networking– organise and attend events to expand reach.
Job Requirements:
Education and Knowledge:
* At least 8 years of experience in a commercial role such as sales management, account management, or business development.
* A degree, in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Commercial Economics, or another economic or business study is preferred
* Fluent in Dutch and English (other languages a plus).
Experience and skills:
* Experience in financial services and the banking and/or credit management sector is a plus (credit and risk management, debt collection).
* Proven track record in financial services, credit, risk management, and/or debt collection (a plus).
* Consultative selling expertise with strong negotiation skills, including closing C-level deals.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to drive revenue growth and implement long-term business strategies.
* Analytical skills to identify market opportunities and conduct competitive analysis.
* Strong relationship-building and networking skills to create new business opportunities.
* International experience and ability to collaborate across cultures.
* Proficient in CRM systems, Office software, and financial data analysis.
* Innovative thinker who embraces new ideas and initiatives.
* Team player who excels at working with diverse cultural backgrounds and cross-functional teams.
